Abstract
the article is devoted to the monograph State (constitutional) law of the Republic of Abkhazia written by Doctor of Law, Professor I.N. Bartsits. The article examines a special vision of the author of the current state and prospects of development of the Abkhazian statehood, a great amount of materials and issues that are traditionally required to study a particular branch of law at scientifi c and educational institutions. The author of the article identifi es the most pressing issues raised in the book: a detailed analysis of the establishment and legal registration of the Abkhazian statehood, key stages in the history of formation of Abkhazia, the value of foreign factors, and the development of citizenship of Abkhazia. The article states that the package of measures proposed in the monograph will contribute to establishing a cohesive and effective system of governance in the Republic of Abkhazia.
