- Abstract
- this article reviews the origin and development of favor defensionis (in favour of the accused) concept in the frames of criminal procedure. Firstly the sources of this notion are analyzed. Further the article examines contents of favor defensionis concept at different stages of criminal procedure studies. It concludes that the considered notion plays an important role in arranging the state of accused in contemporary criminal proceedings.
