Abstract

The article provides a historical and comparative analysis of the views of foreign and Russian scholars and practical workers of cooperatives on the legal aspect and concept of cooperatives as well as their principles. Legal theoretical and practical models of cooperatives having signiﬁcance for the modern development of Russian and international cooperatives have been studied by the author.
