Abstract
Report on 7 th Annual V.S. Nersesyants Memorial Symposium on Legal Philosophy “Encyclopedia of Law or Integral Jurisprudence? Issues in Studying and Teaching”, held in October, 2012 in the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences with the participation of leading Russian experts in history, theory and philosophy of law. During the plenary session prospects of integral and encyclopedic approaches in legal studies were discussed. A special section was devoted to the actual problems and needs of legal education system and to the meaning of legal theory in raising of students’ educational level. “Round Table” “V.S. Nersesyants Libertarian Theory of Law: Twenty Years After” was timed to the anniversary of his work “Our Way to the Law: from Socialism to Civilism” publishing.
