- Abstract
- In this article the author analyzes three famous attempts to construct a Russian national idea. All of them had one similarity: they had not received the expression of the basic Russian values, i.e. volya and pravda. According to the author, only on the basis of constitutionalism, with its recognition of human dignity and right to private and public autonomy of every citizen is possible to develop a new national idea in Russia, which will release the creative potential of the Russian people.
