- Abstract
- The article deals with some insufficiently explored legal issues of disintegration of a state. The author considers foreign and domestic experience of constitutional regulation in the specified sphere, substantiates the need for a dispassionate comprehension of the mentioned issues. He shows the irrelevance of a straight prohibition of secession of subnational entities to the contemporary international law, and suggests some alternative means of ensuring territorial integrity of a state.
