Abstract
This article is examined ontological, gnosiological legal foundation of criminal procedure, researched their connection with solving the problem of truth. Based on carry out analysis, conclusion that rejection of objective truth leads legal procedure to contradiction with its ontological, gnosiological and legal foundations, losing its inherent qualitative certainty and judicial authority losing self-sufficiency and independence which are guaranteed by Constitution of Russian Federation.
