- Abstract
- the article examines the infl uence of economic theories on codifi cations and doctrines of civil law. It explains how perceptions of property snd possession as prerequisites of dynamic and socially balanced market relations legitimize and infl uence important legal constructions and norms of Civil Codes. Legal security and trust are central values for the relations between business partners. They have to fi nd an adequate expression both in contract law and property law.
