Abstract
In the article examines the main provisions of the capitulations signed during the Russian-Turkish wars of 1710-1713, 1735-1739, 1768-1774, 1787-1791, 1806-1812, 1828-1829 and the Crimean War of 1853-1856. Using documents from Russian archives and published sources, the author identifies and analyzes the conditions of these agreements, showing differences from the content of the capitulations concluded in the West, reveals the legal nature, the key principles and specific features of the treaty, and also conducts a periodization of their evolution in the framework of time designated.
