- Abstract
The legal analysis of the UK experience in ensuring the security of personal data lets make the conclusions about the strengths and weaknesses of the Russian legislation in the field. In the article summarized the UK regulatory system in the field of security of personal data. The UK Data Protection Act 1998 and legislative initiatives aimed at ensuring the security of personal data on the Internet were studied.
