Abstract

The article deals with problems of intermunicipal cooperation in foreign countries. The author scrutinizes forms and mechanisms of such cooperation, particular features of its legal regulation in different states. Intermunicipal cooperation is analyzed in the context of modern municipal reforms and is dealt with as a certain alternative to enlargement of local communities in the countries of the modern world.
