Abstract
current study revealed the place and role of the Constitutional Court in the system of the bodies of state governance on the basis of a systematic approach and comparative analysis of the general rules of implementation of judicial-legal reform and the development of constitutional justice in Uzbekistan. Carried-out analysis of the legal nature and characteristics of the institute of constitutional justice considered its evolution and dynamics of the development as a factor of democratization of society and the state. Particular attention was paid to improving the system of powers of the Constitutional Court, increasing the efficiency of constitutional court proceedings. Results of the analysis put forward concrete proposals for improving the legal framework and the mechanism of functioning of constitutional justice, taking into account the needs of the judicial-legal reforms carried out in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
