- Abstract
- The article analyzes the stages of change of the attitude of Russians to the United States. Theperiods of Gorbachev, Yeltsin and Putin are considered. The ambivalent attitude at the beginning ofGorbachev’s period was changed to positive, then again to the ambivalent, and at the present stage onhostile. Reasons for this evolution are characterized.
