Abstract
The paper addresses the problem of social sentiments changes and election cycle, to analyze which the instrument of social sentiment’ composite indices is employed. Social validity of mass protests during last Duma and Presidential elections is demonstrated. The relationship between welfare status and sociopolitical attitudes is established.
