- Indirect evidence from the diplomatic correspondence and a few ego-documents are used as a basis for a reconstraction of major milestones in the life and career of the secretary, later councillor of the Austrian embassy in St.-Petersburg Johann Philipp BoBler von Eichenfeld, who served in Russia from 1723 to 1763.
