- Abstract
- The article considers the conflicts of interests between Slovenia and the central government at a stage of formation of the Yugoslav federation. Slovenian society entered the process of negotiations with overestimated expectations, therefore their discontent with the centralisation was much more pronounced there, than in any other republic of Yugoslavia. The party leadership of Slovenia treated it as problems of a transition period and hoped to overcome them.
