- Abstract
- Debates at the Round table on various dimensions of relationship between a scientist and authorities are described. Among the subjects considered there are: appropriateness of the conflict between those actors; patterns of a scientist's behavior towards the authorities as they were impersonated in the figures of A.D. Sakharov, D.S. Likhachev, V.I. Vernadskiy; humanities as a source of social myths, that are demanded by the authorities; science politics and specific dimensions of the conflict between scientific community and the authorities in post- Soviet Russia.
