- Abstract
- Evolution of anthropological views of classical American pragmatism from Peirce to Dewey is considered. Changes in the anthropological stance of pragmatism are traced from the views of human being as a pure bearer of Reason to the conception of a Human as a historical phenomenon. The connection between the anthropology and the ethics in the works of Peirce, James and Dewey is analyzed.
