- Abstract
- Some specific traits of the transitional to 20-th century epoch of the Russian culture as well as formation of the dialogic type of thought are analyzed, the direct subject of a case study being spiritual quest by N.N. Strakhov and his dialogs with some contemporaries. The dialogic existential nature of a transition epoch is considered as it was reflected in some dialogues of a "classical" philosopher with some representatives of the emerging "Silver Age" philosophy. The dialogue between L. Tolstoy and Strakhov is in a focus. That dialogue was maintained as a continuous interlocution on the non-classic nature of creative thinking.
