Abstract

Faust image is considered as an antipode to Christ and to Martin Luther, as an embodiment of atheistic couter-reformation project and of the spirit of “modernity", of which the very core is contraposition of intelligence and knowledge, on one hand, and spiritual and moral principle ТВ God on the other.
