- Abstract
- The results of various researches of prostitution and its prospects by the psychiatrists, criminologists, historians from both Russia and Western Europe are surveyed. The author is interested rather in the opportunity to counteract this centuries-old phenomenon as such than in some or other specific ways to eliminate prostitution. So the emphasis is made on pluralisation of the family life modes and on the family emancipation movement.
