Abstract

The article analyzes the norm of the Constitution of the Russian Federation on indigenous peoples. The prerequisites for its emergence, the relationship with the Federal structure of Russia, especially these peoples, the state's obligations to protect their rights, the international standards of these rights in relation to the Russian legislation, as well as the ways of convergence of these standards and legislation are shown.
