- Abstract
The article analyzes the characteristics of the Constitution of the RSFSR in 1918, which the author considers the first Russian Constitution. The features of this Constitution in comparison with the constitutions of foreign States are shown. It is emphasized that the Constitution was originally adopted for the transitional period, in addition, its creators thought the constitutional act is not an act of reconciliation of all social forces and groups, and the act of class struggle, the act of suppression of resistance exploitative classes. This author explains the specifics of the constitutional norms, including the features of the legal status of the individual.
