Abstract
The structure of the concept of intentional action is clarified. The article reveals semantic equivalents of "intentionality" in the Russian language, which can be used in experiments when studying everyday knowledge about the social world. Based on empirical data, it is suggested that "acting intentionally” is more like" acting on purpose” or " acting intentionally”1. Research directions related to the concept of intentionality are outlined.
Keywords
intentionality • activity • social action • semantic equivalents • deliberate action • "popular sociology".
