- Abstract
- Based on the collected and restored histories of Siberian families, the article considers family and ancestral memory as a component of the social memory of the Siberian territorial community from the point of view of social and cultural trauma. The study of the family memory of the Siberian territorial community, which differs in the specifics of settlement and formation, explains the reasons for the behavior of people in extreme conditions associated with migration events, dekulakization, deportation, and political repression that Siberian families have experienced over the past two centuries.
