- Abstract
- Models of ecological culture of Russian (on the example of Kazan) and American (on the example of Fort Collins, Colorado) students are analyzed. The high environmental anxiety and no less high environmental passivity of Russian students suggests that their environmental culture is only at a symbolic level. The "green" culture of American students, in contrast to the Russian one, has become a "normal" paradigm and is transmitted by the main social agents and socialinstitutions.
