- Abstract
- The authors compare the perceptions of Russian and Portuguese residents about their level of social security. A pilot study found that citizens of both countries are most vulnerable to the onset of poverty, crime, and environmental threats. Arbitrariness on the part of officials and law enforcement agencies is much more concerned about the Russians than the Portuguese.
