Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of reproduction of social inequality in the field of education. The main mechanisms of social stratification in education are determined. Based on the data of sociological research in 2000–2013, regional dynamics of reproduction of educational inequality are revealed, and institutional barriers to access to high-quality secondary education are analyzed. Strategies for managing educational inequality through social interactions within the framework of state policy are proposed.
