- Abstract
- The article considers the importance of social capital for employment in industrial enterprises in Serbia in conditions of high unemployment, limited opportunities for workers to improve their chances and social status by collective actions, and if education does not meet the real needs of industry. The analysis is based on research data from six enterprises in various industries. Conclusions are drawn about the importance of social ties in employment when the level of education and professional skills of employees is insufficient.
