Abstract
The article focuses on the contradictory impact of natural science and social and humanitarian knowledge on social processes and personality. Three key overlapping and interdependent spheres of this impact are identified and characterized: industrial and technological, humanitarian, and status-role. Within each of them, cardinal changes that directly or indirectly affected and affect social relations are presented. The expediency and complexity of implementing international projects that combine advanced developments and the efforts of representatives of natural and human Sciences aimed at defining less conflict-prone development trajectories are emphasized.
