- Abstract
- The author of the article attempts to resume, from the nowadays standpoint, the general results of the political path of Fidel Castro. His multiform activity, as the Cuban Revolution leader and the head of Republic of Cuba, is scrutinized within the context of the evolving regional and world realities, taking into account his outstanding role in the solution of the national and international crises. Special attention is paid to his great contribution to the strengthening of the Cuban and Latin American sovereignty, the qualitative increase of the nation and region role in the multi-polar world, and the unifying of the tradition of Latinoamericanism to the ideal of social justice.
