Abstract

The former president (2010-2015) of Uruguay Jose Mujica, both city insurgent and political prisoner during dictatorship, gave an exclusive interview to the RT TV channel “Russia Today”. In that interview, he spoke about “the traps set by neoliberalism with the irrevocable consequences.” Further, J. Mujica shares his opinion concerning the reasons of why neither the leftist nor the rightist ideologies would never prevail. Mujica has also explained in what way the rise of Mauricio Makri (2015 - current) in Argentina would benefit regional integration. He has also discussed his approach to the resolution of a conflict in Colombia.
