- Abstract
- On the eve of the 70th anniversary of Victory, the Molodaya Gvardiya publishing house published a book by NIKOLAI Sergeevich LEONOV, a member of the editorial Board of Latin America magazine since its Foundation, a retired KGB Lieutenant General, doctor of historical Sciences and Professor at MGIMO, dedicated to the life and work of Raul Castro, a Cuban revolutionary and outstanding statesman, whose name is associated not only with high achievements in gaining and preserving the freedom and independence of his homeland, but also with its rapid entry into the world market space in recent years. We offer our readers fragments of this, in fact, the first full-fledged biography of the Cuban leader, written by one of his personal friends.
