В статье анализируются вопросы стратегии США на афганском направлении в начальный период президентства Дональда Трампа. Показаны основные недостатки в политике руководства США в отношении разрешения афганского кризиса и достижения мира в стране, рассматриваются актуальные проблемы ситуации в сфере безопасности в Афганистане.
