- Abstract
- the article is dedicated to the study of the provisions of the Laws on the Skolkovo Innovation Center which provide for a set of fiscal and customs benefits for the residents of the said Center, in particular the 0% profit tax rate and the exemption from property levy. The author draws conclusion that the Skolkovo Innovation Center project should be supplemented with projects which would cultivate the innovation medium in the Russian economy; in particular it is advisable to impose fiscal benefits and other preferences for non raw-materials enterprises and innovation branches of the economy at the scale of the entire state.
