- Abstract
- Modern Russia goes through one of the periods of active interference of state ideology into formation of the new political and legal culture. A certain shift from universal human values to national tradition and interest is evident which is quite justified both from historical and theoretical point of view. The problem is what kind of national traditions should be cultivated. It seems that propaganda of russian conservatism, monarchy, clericalism, social inequality, elite, total denial of any positive contribution of three Russian revolutions to national history do not promote development of democracy.
