Abstract

The article considers the question of the correlation of the principles of objective truth and competitiveness in the modern Russian criminal proceedings. The author justiﬁes the author’s position on the distribution of the burden of proof of the truth in a criminal case between the ofﬁcials of the bodies of investigation and court.
