- Abstract
- This paper is prepared as author’s reflection on the newly presented monograph "Civilization of Law and development of Russia” by prof. V.D. Zor ’kin, Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation. Supporting the views expressed by the authoritative colleague, author highlights the basic issues of the legal development in today’s Russia. Author notes the significance of the relevant legal solutions as for the external challenges which Russia faces in the context of globalization as for the internal unresolved problems andcollisions accumulated during the years of reforms. He underlines especially the importance of improvement for the moral basics of Law in Russia, as well as the significance of elaboration of the consistent legal doctrine and of development on its basis for the traditional system of Russian Law focused around the Constitution and Constitutional Law. Supporting the opinion of prof. V.D. Zor ’kin, author argues that Russia has no future out of the legal and political development.
