- Abstract
the article touches upon the specific features of general legal educational subjects system modernization project, which was presented by Professor P.G. Redkin at the assembly of the Imperial Moscow University in 1846. The total appreciation of the historical aspect of the university education development in the first half of the XIX century, which led to the appearance of the above mentioned project, is given in the article. In the presented project P.G. Redkin gives the system of general sciences, required for the professional education and training of a Russian lawyer.
