- Abstract
- This article explores the possibility of using the results of current research in the field of genetics in criminological purposes. We analyze the attitude of the Russian school of criminology to anthropology of law. Presented consequences popularity of eugenics in the United States: the laws on sterilization of repeat offenders and restrictions on the migration of the first half of the twentieth century, newborn screening for the presence of chromosomal abnormalities such as XYY, proposals for regulatory order of birth of children in the family. It sets the scope of regulations governing the development of modern genetics in the Russian Federation, as well as their relationship with the modern criminological science.
