- Abstract
- Rules as the institutions’ cornerstones are discussed: what are the rules? May the rules be implicit? Are their normative as such or not? Are their collective only or individually too, and what kinds of rules may be a building block for institutions? Rigorous defi nition of rule is introduced, and it is shown that constitutive rules are not cornerstones for institutions. Discussion based on the results of variety of scientifi c disciplines, from philosophy to neuroscience.
