Abstract

The article presents the issues related to the celebration in 2019 of the centenary of the international labour organization (ILO). The article shows the importance of the Treaty of Versailles in the creation of the ILO, which United governments, representatives of workers and employers. The issues of the main activities of the ILO and its structure are considered. A special place in the article was taken by questions about the implementation of ILO initiatives put forward on the eve of the 100th anniversary of the ILO. Attention is drawn to the activities carried out in Russia to implement the ILO initiative "Future of work".
