- Abstract
- The essence of the concepts of ethnic status and ethnic interests is revealed; the role of these phenomena in national politics is determined. Based on the materials of sociological research, the existing differences in the social status and interests of representatives of different ethnic groups are determined. Factors contributing to social differentiation between ethnic groups living on the same territory are identified.
