The article presents the results of the second Round table on problems of sociology of management. The issues of development of the domestic socio-managerial knowledge as a branch scientific discipline were the main theme of this event. The leading experts in the subject field of sociology of management took part in the discussion of the development of this discipline. The main content of the discussion amounts to the argumentation of development problems and a state modern management practices at the different levels of the organization in the conditions of external and internal calls. There were discussed the contradictions concerning the role and quality of management phenomenon, society consolidation, democratization attempts, which had emerged as a result of work levels power-management vertical’s. These questions are especially relevant today because they are connected with the reform of the current governance structure.
