The article deals with the problems of the Russian-Chinese joint film production that have emerged in recent years. One of such problems is the stereotyping of Russia and China, as well as their people. Such an approach causes great reputational damage to both countries. The author analyzes the causes of the cliches and stereotypes about people and countries and concludes that it is necessary to eliminate social biases through cooperation.
