- Аннотация
В статье анализируются основные положения теорий классиков американской геополитики А. Мэхэна, Н. Спайкмена и Дж. Кеннана применительно к политике США в Азиатско-Тихоокеанском регионе в целом и в отношении Японии. Несмотря на различные трансформации в политике, классические теории остаются фундаментом современной внешней политики США. Автор резюмирует, что рассматриваемые концепции американских теоретиков в значительной степени отражают современные внешнеполитические действия США в регионе.
