.The article is devoted to the Portuguese topics based on the creation of the outstanding Spanish writer and philosopher - Miguel de Unamuno. This theme still remains insufficiently studied not only in Russia but also in the Homeland of Unamuno -in Spain. The author focuses his attention on the basic ideas of Unamuno regarding Portugal and its relationship with Spain, the most important of which is the idea of the dialectical unity of the Iberian Peninsula on the whole.
